Rev. Liz's Talk: "Be Still - A Taizé Service" 🧘♀️
Happy Thanks-Living, Beloved One!
In the midst of this holiday season of activity and busyness, we are invited now into a sacred pause. This Sunday, our community gathers for “Be Still,” a gentle Taizé-inspired service designed to quiet the mind, open the heart, and make space for the Presence that is always here.
Taizé is a meditative, contemplative form of worship that weaves together simple chants, silence, candlelight, and gentle prayer. Its beauty lies in repetition—a soft mantra for the soul—helping us slip out of thought and into the deeper current of Spirit. In this stillness, we remember that the peace we seek is not somewhere “out there,” but within our very breath.
As we soften into the silence between the notes, we create room for guidance, healing, and the quiet whisper of the Divine. This service is an invitation to rest, release, and realign with the Love that sustains all things.
Come as you are. Sink into the music. Let the silence hold you.
Together, we rest as we affirm the ancient call from the Psalms: “Be still, and know that I am.” And so it is.
With great love and gratitude always,
Rev. Liz
