Rev. Liz's Talk: "A New Kind of Patriotism🎆

Happy 4th of July Beloved One, 💥

What if freedom is more than a political ideal? What if it is our spiritual birthright looking beyond the history of the Fourth of July to the eternal Truth that has always been at the heart of Unity teachings: there is only One Presence and One Power expressing as all life.

This Sunday, as we gather just after Independence Day, we’ll explore a deeper kind of freedom—one that is born not from separation, but from our profound interconnectedness. Framed by the haunting question of “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” and the hopeful vision of “God Bless America,” we’ll explore a fresh spiritual vision for life after the Fourth of July.

Together we’ll move beyond a national Declaration of Independence toward a personal Declaration of Interdependence—recognizing that none of us thrives alone. We’ll also create a Personal Pledge of Allegiance: not merely to a flag, but to the highest ideals of love, justice, kindness, inclusion, and the Divine Presence that lives in every being.

Come discover how changing consciousness is one of the greatest acts of patriotism—and how healing ourselves helps heal the world. Until then, stay safe, know peace, and be love. 💖

With great love and gratitude always,

Rev. Liz
