Our Social Action Team is sponsoring a service opportunity here at Unity Santa Fe, called Care and Share, as a way of blessing others in our local Santa Fe community.
By talking with local social service organizations, we've learned what some of the greatest needs are in our community.
Each month, we are highlighting one specific need and offering the opportunity for you to donate items to fill that need.

People without homes need the most basic of things, like UNDERWEAR AND SOCKS (including long underwear).
Your donations will go to St. Elizabeth shelter for men and Casa Familia shelter for women and families.

St. Elizabeth Shelter is dedicated to assisting homeless individuals and families by providing emergency shelter, food, case management, counseling, supportive housing and referrals to partnering human-service agencies. St. Elizabeth Shelter’s ultimate goal is to end the cycle of homelessness.
Casa Familia is St. E’s dedicated emergency shelter for single women and families with children. Casa Familia provides a bright and warm atmosphere for single women and families desiring to regain a hold over their lives. Everyday the women and families at Casa Familia work with case management to restructure their lives and build brighter futures for themselves. By adhering to policies and procedures similar to the Men’s Emergency Shelter such as sobriety, guests at Casa Familia are able to live in an environment that promotes peace, hard work, and goal accomplishment. Walking into Casa Familia one will immediately feel the warm, supportive environment that has been established.
