Our ever-active Social Action Team has identified another community need that our loving hearts can fill.
Our Social Action Team is sponsoring a service opportunity here at Unity Santa Fe, called Care and Share, as a way of blessing others in our local Santa Fe community.
By talking with local social service organizations, we've learned what some of the greatest needs are in our community.
Every 2 months, we'll be highlighting one specific need and offering the opportunity for you to donate items to fill that need.
So for March and April, we will be accepting items for Consuelo's Place, the homeless shelter at the mid-town campus. They have an urgent need for PILLOWS, BLANKETS, AND TOWELS to provide cozy comfort for our unhoused friends and neighbors.
Pillows MUST BE NEW, but blankets and towels can be GENTLY used (not frayed or threadbare).
So check for sales at local stores, raid your own closet, or shop online, the more the better, and bring these items with you when you come to church!
Our Unity Community is so generous! Let's keep our love flowing to make a difference for our greater Santa Fe community!
