Our Social Action Team is sponsoring a service opportunity here at Unity Santa Fe, called Care and Share, as a way of blessing others in our local Santa Fe community.
By talking with local social service organizations, we've learned what some of the greatest needs are in our community.
Each month, we are highlighting one specific need and offering the opportunity for you to donate items to fill that need.
Everyone deserves nutritious food to eat. Let's help ensure that our neighbors have enough good food. For the Month of November, our Care & Share program is collecting NON-PERISHABLE FOOD. This can include cans, plastic jars (please, no glass), packaged food, such as pasta, rice, cereal, crackers, etc., and especially at this time of year, stuffing mix. Stuffing mix brought in by Nov. 17 will be given to Adelante, who will be putting together Thanksgiving food boxes. All other donated food items will go to The Food Depot.
