My wife Marlene and I have been students of New Thought for several decades and have been members of Unity Santa Fe since we moved to Los Alamos from Atlanta in 2005. New thought teachings and practice have been important in our relationship right from the beginning, when we were introduced by a minister for the Center for Spiritual Living in Boston in 1989. In 2010, Rev. Brendalyn Batchelor persuaded me to become a prayer chaplain at Unity Santa Fe, which has been, and continues to be, an incredible experience of spiritual service and growth.
Until September 2018, I spent six years working on projects that kept me away from home most of the time. Now that I have a job in Los Alamos, I have committed to serving Unity Santa Fe on the Board of Trustees. I have a great deal of experience with project management, where I have acquired some skills which are helpful for this position. I believe that my strongest qualification is a desire for the Unity message to be spread far and wide. I was President of the Board from 2019-2021. During that time we went through a pandemic and the transition to a new minister. I was re-elected to the Board and the role of President in 2022 and look forward to serving Unity Santa Fe.
