Winter Solstice Service
Saturday | December 21 |ย 7:00 pm MT | via Zoom
The Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, is honored by many traditions as a time of reflection on the year just ending and a celebration of the new year coming. ย As we acknowledge the depth of the โfruitful darkness,โ we open our hearts, our souls, to receive that Divine Light that flows in, through, and as us.
Join Rev. Liz and Rev. Donna Michael on Saturday, December 21st, for our Winter Solstice Meditation Service as we honor the โsacred time of rest and reflectionโ and the emergence of new vision and light for the new year. ย ย
โIn winter everything lies dormant in the silent earth, it is a sacred time of rest and reflection before the awakening and the slow build toward brighter days.ย ย The energy of winter is that of going within.ย Itโs the fruitful darkness and silence out of which our soulโs yearnings and new inspirations can eventually emerge. ย As we consciously link our awareness to natureโs cycles, our understanding of our own personal growth cycles begin to deepen.โ
